Art Lane

Art Lane 2020 was created with an objective of reflecting on the original Art Lane in 2014, where a group of artists used it as a driven force to go against the government at that particular time. Art has been involving in a protest sphere, and being a part of call out the military to conducted a coup at the end. Afterwards, the context of art that used to called out for the recent coup or political movement has been silence to an evil which is much worsen than what the previous government has done. Artists become an ignorant to massive issues among our society, especially to those protesters as being violated on human rights, freedom of expression, and social harassment. They never mentioning on these at all. This version of Art Lane 2020 intends to become a freedom space of everyone to raise opinion and discussion, as well as to eliminate all fears and pressure from the society. We want art to be tangible and easy access to all, and we can make our own art.
